Three distances to choose from – walk, jog, or run!  5K, 3K, 1K Courses linked here at the Routes Button

This is our one large fundraiser for the PTA to support health and wellness in our school and community.  Mostly, we’re really all about getting individuals, families, and friends all out to the starting line on race day for a great time celebrating victories and movement!  This is an in-person event but there is a virtual option! See the information at the bottom of this page.

Directions

Negley Elementary School at 5940 McNaughton, Kyle Tx.  Please do not park on McNaughton as this is part of all three race courses.  Parking is available at the side lot of the school, at Rocking Horse Academy, and along the side streets.  Please be courteous to PC Residents - do not block driveways or mailboxes.  Carpooling or walking to the starting line  are the best, and most appreciated, options!

Packet Pickup

Early Packet Pickup (includes Sleepwalkers) and walk up registration available at Negley Elementary, Friday March 5th, 3:45-5:30 p.m. (outside, front)

Please be patient if you are trying to pick up a packet immediately after school.  We have a lot of packets to move from the back portable to the front of the school, plus get everything set up and we can't start this process until 3:15 - THANK YOU!

We set up packet pickup AS SOON as we get clearance from school staff.  Please be kind to volunteers!

*Sleepwalkers and Virutal need to pick up their packets during the regularly-scheduled pick-up times or porch pickup after the race (address will be emailed out)
Race Day is March 6, 2021
Race Day Packet Pick up and walk-up registration begins at 7:00 a.m. (outside, front of school)

Cash, check, and credit card accepted at walk-up registration

Additional Info

All three races start and finish at Negley Elementary. 
We are Rain or Shine, Hot or Cold. 
5K and 3K are chip timed.
Yes, you can pick up for another person.

Changes or substitutions need to be made at the timing tent on race morning.

Special Divisions–

Top Dog – first three dogs across the finish line will be awarded a medal!

Stroller (with human passenger!) Pusher – first three across the finish line (male or female) will be awarded a special recognition medal!  Participants in this division will still be part of the age group awards.

Virtual Participants - 

5K/3K Virtual gets you a shirt, a bib, and the opportunity to upload your time (this is important to some who are tracking running commitments). You must register by the shirt guarantee deadline to receive the shirt size you would like.  Packets will be available for pickup FOLLOWING the race (you will receive an email indicating the address for porch pickup) if you are not able to come on early packet pickup. Packets will be shipped to those who select that option on Monday following the race.  Send your time to fortheloveofgo@gmail.com by 3/6 at 8:00 a.m.
