18-Week Program (Beginner & Intermediate)

 

This program is a training program for the Two Rivers Half Marathon. You can use this training for other events on or around October 27.

Start date: Wednesday, June 25, 2025, 6:00 pm

*Group runs are optional and for your benefit, but not required. You can join the program and complete all or some of the runs on your own if you prefer.

 

Who is this training for?

Beginner and intermediate runners who would like a structured program and would like to train with other people. All paces will be represented and welcome to join. Must be able to complete one mile to participate in the program.

Our goals for the program: For participants to have fun and complete the race injury-free at the pace they are comfortable with.

 

Learn more: Attend one of our orientation sessions at Two Rivers Running to meet the team and ask questions. We will also have opportunities to complete a test run for pace group placement.

Saturday, June 14, 8:30 am. Orientation session and test run. Wear running clothes.

Wednesday, June 18, 6 pm. Orientation session only.

Wednesday, June 25, 6 pm. Day one of training program. Test run will be offered to those who haven't completed one yet.

All meetings and runs will be at Two Rivers Running, 1265 N Academy, Ste 1101. The orientation sessions and test runs are Optional but encouraged. 

 

Levels: 

Beginner - I haven't run a half and don't have much running experience

Intermediate - I have run a half before and want to have a more structured plan

If you have a goal time, we will refer you to the monthly coaching program
