About

The Danville Middle School & Davenport High School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) join forces for a 4th year to host our annual 5K, Run With the Wolves, for our schools and community! The race is October 21st at Davenport High School. The 5K will take place on the cross country trail and the Wolf Pup Fun Run for ages 2-11 will be on the track.

Our primary goal is to build a community that actively participates and encourages the growing Wolf Pack at every level. We want to encourage healthy lifestyles & generate opportunities where students, parents, and staff thrive. We want to connect with our neighbors, families, and local businesses. We will take this opportunity to cheer each other on and continue a tradition for years to come. This event enables us to invest in our schools while supporting the pack as they grow from pups to wolves. Every child has a voice and we will make sure it is heard.

Sleep in for the Cause: Relax and sleep in while still supporting your pack! The only action for you to take is to collect your shirt.

Wolf Pup Fun Run is for ages 2-11 years old.

This year same day registration will be available with online only. We will not be accepting cash or checks. Same day registration will take place on your mobile device.

20 October at Davenport High School 4-6:00pm by the VISOTORS SIDE (Football Field) concession stand.

SAFETY BRIEF - The 5K route is considered more of a trail run. It is the course that is used by the Davenport Cross Country Team. Rocks, roots, and muddy pathways are standard. Participants must use extreme caution while navigating the course to prevent slips, trips, and rolled ankles. We will have first aid available and can call for 911 for any emergency that might arise.

No strollers on the trail or track please.

Please leave your REAL wolves at home, no dogs allowed at the event.
