Tap-Tober 5k Beer Run & Walk - A charity fundraiser, UNIQUE and FUN 

Founders Kevin & Melissa Johnson (also owners of Brewery Direct) created this event to benefit Project Angel Fares, a unique program that provides families who have a child with special needs an opportunity to visit San Antonio and experience the ultra-accessible Morgan’s Wonderland and Inspiration Island that otherwise they would not be possible.  Project Angel Fares pays for all travel expenses.

 

The AMAZING part is that since 2014 Tap-Tober 5k Beer Run & Walk has raised over $47,000 to help provide “trips of a lifetime” benefiting the special needs community.

 

NOTE:  Effective Thursday, October 18th, 2018.  Registration cost for participants 21 and over (timed) is $30, under 21 (non-timed) is $20.  Extension on guaranteed shirt size - register by Friday, October 26th.  Finisher medals and Tultex t-shirts, plus swag bags, and some of San Antonio's finest craft brewed beers.  Join the fun!

Tap-Tober 5k Beer Run & Walk partners with the best local craft breweries.  At the finish line a cold one awaits you.  This event is festive with music, awards, snacks, race shirt and more.  Only the top 300 finishers who are 21 & over receive a Commemorative Bottle Opener Medal. 

21& under will receive a very cool gift.
