The Sauerkraut Bend 5K River Run is a timed competitive and fun run that benefits the King William Association a 501c3 non-profit corporation. The race starts at 9am on Sunday, February 23rd, 2020.
Participation is capped at 1000 runners/sleepers!
The 5K course takes runners on part of the Official King William Parade Route through the Historic King William Neighborhood and on the beautiful San Antonio Riverwalk.
Don’t want to run it? No problem. Walk it, stroll it, we want everyone to come on down to Southtown. We’ve even got a special “I Slept Like a King” option for those who want in on the fun, but don’t want to run. Maybe you want to say you "slept-in" and still get a runner’s bib (for the nap), and a t-shirt and Fiesta-style participation medal designed by Robert Tatum.
There will be a “Party in the Park” and an awards ceremony that will crown the “King” and “Queen” of the Sauerkraut Bend 5K River Run. All participants, friends, spectators, and interested parties are invited to the after party at the King William Park and Gazebo.
Packet Pick-up is Feb 22nd from 1-5pm at The Friendly Spot (943 Alamo St) and race day morning near the King Wm Gazebo from 7am-8:45am.
Sorry NO REFUNDS!
